2.VIETNAM HOME RESTAURANT
Open since 2009, Vietnam Home 1 at 125A Nguyen Dinh Chieu has offered some of the best home-style Vietnamese cuisine along the Phan Thiet-Mui Ne Strip. Set in an airy, traditional-style Vietnamese thatched building, the restaurant has a wide range of international and Vietnamese dishes and is a favourite among tour groups visiting the area.
If you've ever wanted to try crocodile (as Russian tour groups do), stuffed sea snails or lizard (a Vietnamese speciality), you've come to the right place. If you cannot decide from the à la carte menu, go for one of the set menus with a range of tasty dishes that are not necessarily as 'exotic'. There's an all-you-can-eat buffet complete with crocodile every Thursday, and a range of very affordable wines to complement your meal.
The ground floor has open and covered seating, as does the pleasant terrace on the first floor.
Vietnam Home's souvenir shop sells crocodile-skin products and other interesting items - worth a look.
Vietnam Home has recently opened a second branch, Vietnam Home 2, further west along the Strip at 53 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, which offers similar dishes. Set on an upper floor with the same thatched building style, it is an airy place with a delightfully cool breeze.
Try the reasonably priced, Phan Thiet-style fish hotpot (Lẩu Thả Phan Thiết) which requires two hours' notice.
3.MUI NE DELI RESTAURANT
Mui Ne Deli restaurant combines experience of chefs from both Mui Ne and Saigon, utilizing readily available fresh seafood in Mui Ne too serve families and both local and foreign tourists. Located right at the entrance of Mui Ne, this restaurant offers spacious parking, great food quality at reasonable price, nice and clean setting with both air con and open air tables.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this is a nautically themed, timber restaurant right on the beach. The menu features a wide range of Thai, Vietnamese and international specialities. In the evening, there's a seafood barbecue extravaganza with everything from shrimp, crab and lobster to lamb and pork chops, chicken wings and Argentinean beefsteaks cooked to order. 6.HOA VIEN BRAUHAUS
Entering the resort strip from the south, you will notice a gigantic beer mug by the road. Congratulations, you have stumbled upon Hoa Vien Brauhaus. A hub of Vietnamese seafood and international cuisine, the food is complemented wonderfully by a selection of Czech-style, house-brewed lagers and ales. Enjoy the 360-degree open space with its panoramic views.
There are also locations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
To get into the spirit, have some Czech sausages or their speciality fried cheese.
The Champa restaurant offers genuine French dining in a lovely garden setting and overlooks the circular pool of the Coco Beach Resort. Chef Thierry Guineau and his team prepares exquisite French dishes, using only fresh ingredients, paired with a good selection from the excellent wine list. The delightful ethnic décor reflects the regional culture with archways of brick and polished floorboards. This is the signature restaurant of the Coco Beach Resort .
