Attractive Ganh Son
People who come to Bình Thuận may have known the name Gành Son of Chí Công, Tuy Phong district. Its beauty is like a landscape picture which is painted by the great handwriting of the nature. On one side, the dark red emerging sand dunes seem to be whittled by the force of time. On the other side, the sea is deep blue.
Coming to Gành Son, visitors can also have a chance to discover the beauty of the stones which are up and down. The picture is likely to lack the existence to human beings, but in fact, there is a fishing village with many hard-working fishermen on their coracles to go out to the sea and catch fish. Gành Son is really a masterpiece given by the nature.
Located near Phan Thiết, about 70 kilometers, Gành Son beach is not really popular to many Vietnamese because the tourism doesn’t develop here. In fact, it is just a gulf with many stones. However, Gành Son has a very special beauty that you have to come to enjoy it.
Before you reach to Gành Son, you have to pass a fishing hamlet called Giuồng. Fishermen in Giuồng village have to live together in a strait. Although they are not crowded, they seem to have everything for their daily lives. There are also many baskets here. This is a kind of round boat that is familiar with the fishermen to move from the shore to the junk. It doesn’t take you much time to go from the fishing hamlet to Gành Son but you have to walk on the sand, so you can absolutely feel very tired.
It is truly a fall because the distance from the beach to the water surface is about 20 meters. If you come to watch the sunrise, you can also realize there is a pink cliff. The sand-bank is narrow and flat. The water there is deep blue.
Gánh Son includes red rocky mountains emerging as if it is whittled by the Time, and the rough and hazardous caves. The red color of the stones and blue color of the sea are remarkable under the sunlight, which makes this place become harmonious and illusory.
Ganh Son is actually a hill of hard red clay, which is the result of weathering and erosion for a very, very long time as in the beginning, leaving a rather special landscape. It seems to be in a strange planet. From the seaside, you can enjoy spectacular scenes. The cliffs are much higher than the sea level with two colors- grey below and dark red above. Somewhere you can see a grove of trees protruding from the rock, which is a rare picture that tourists should not miss.
At dawn as well as at sunset, when the sea is serene, from the cliffs, you can see local people busy with their daily life. The views of Ganh Son are really fantastic. Waves patting the boats, flickering water, the blend of the red of the rocks and the blue of the sea…together, they create an amazing peaceful picture.
|Ganh Son is still primitive as the area has not yet been developed by the local authority. That's the reason why this is a popular destination for adventurersand those who loves travelling alone.|
